GNC NEWS
Mr. Asiedu emphasized his guiding principle: “My contribution is solely dedicated to the clinic’s operations, and I ask that it be recorded transparently under the Ghanaian Clinic ledger. Because without transparency, there can be no trust.” His statement highlighted the significance of the gift for the clinic and the wider community.
In acknowledgement of Mr. Asiedu’s focus on transparency and operational support, GCHC Vice President and Clinic Director Dr. Eunice Otuwa Cromwell offered a heartfelt response: “Your contributions have touched countless lives. Because of you, we’ve expanded our services, sustained our volunteers, and launched specialized clinics in Travel Medicine and Obesity Management. You’ve helped us become a nonprofit, community-operated clinic, saving us $500 monthly on electronic medical records and allowing us to focus on what matters most: our patients.”
As a token of appreciation, presented on behalf of Mr. Asiedu, Mrs. Asiedu accepted a commemorative plaque and a vintage bottle of champagne, symbolizing the quiet strength behind his visionary support. The GNC extends deep gratitude to all donors, volunteers, partners, and community members whose collective dedication ensures the clinic’s continued success. “This clinic is our gift to the future,” Dr. Cromwell said. “And thanks to Mr. Asiedu, that future is brighter than ever.”
The Ghanaian Community Health Clinic (GCHC) has long been a trusted source of care for the Ghanaian and wider African diaspora in Chicagoland, providing culturally attuned medical services that respect language, identity, and dignity.
