Ghana Northern Union of Chicago
The Ghana Northern Union of Chicago is an umbrella cultural and support organization uniting people from Northern Ghana (including ethnic groups such as Dagomba, Mamprusi, Nanumba, Gonja, Kusasi, Bimoba, and others) who now call the Chicago area home.

Our mission is to uphold the traditions, values, languages, and cultural heritage of the Northern Ghana region, while fostering solidarity, mutual assistance, and community advancement in the diaspora.

We organize cultural festivals (such as Damba, Bugum, Kobine, and other Northern Ghana events), educational outreach, mentorship programs, and charitable initiatives. Whether you are from Northern Ghana, connected by heritage, or simply interested in learning more, we invite you to engage with us.
